To minimize freight expense the trailers have been used as a “load out” trailer meaning that freight was loaded into the trailer and moved by a shipper to the final destination. Trailer will have obvious signs of use on the inside from being loaded like possible scuffs, minor scratches and normal wear that you would get after you used if for a few loads. Loading out the trailers reduces the freight cost by thousands of dollars. The only trailers without ever having a load in them will be the ones FOB San Diego CA. The rest will be used as a loadout to relocate the units to the final destination. This is the most common practice in our industry. Trailers to be picked up in San Diego have to be removed from the storage yard within 15 days maximum.
